Mr. Manish Somani brings over three decades of diversified business experience across manufacturing, trading, retail, and real estate development. A commerce graduate with B.Com and M.Com degrees, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial acumen in building and scaling businesses across multiple industries.
His manufacturing expertise spans scrap granule production, tarpaulin manufacturing, and BIS-certified HDPE pipe production, developing deep insights into quality control, supply chain management, and regulatory compliance. His hands-on experience showcases his commitment to maintaining industry standards and delivering quality products to the market. His trading experience in grain markets at Anaj Mandi provided valuable insights into commodity dynamics and vendor relationship building. His retail operations in the garment sector developed customer service expertise and market positioning capabilities.
Currently, Mr. Somani has successfully transitioned into real estate development as a colony developer, applying his manufacturing precision and market knowledge to deliver residential projects. With more than three decades of Impressive Work Experience, Shubhang’s business acumen stands unparalleled in the entire Steel Tube Industry. He brings a nationwide experience from the diverse professional stints he had across numerous Steel Tube Plants of India. The most remarkable feat of his career came by when he took the onus of seamlessly expanding the production capacity of Caparo Steel Plant, from 1000 MT per month to 2000 MT per month and that too within a span of just 2 years- Something that makes up for an achievement to be decorated in the record books.
Shubhang earned his BE (Mechanical Engineering) and M. Tech from the Government Engineering College (GEC), Ujjain and presently he’s gearing up to defend his thesis and he’s on his way to earn a Doctorate too.
Known for his enormous passion for Engineering, Innovation and Automation, his acumen in managing the plant and leading it to sustainable production in the actual sense of the term, has earned him the highest of recognitions from the Industry Associations as well as the State Government. This prominence to getting honored for his efforts, came from an Incredible Initiative spearheaded by Shubhang at Caparo Steel Plant- Turning the plant self-sufficient and self-reliant by conserving water and reusing the water during the manufacturing process. Rainwater harvesting and Ground water recharging at Caparo Steel Plant, Dewas are 2 of the most attention grabbing initiatives he led while serving at Caparo. This initiative went on to record an astonishing 80% of water getting reused across the Plant and thus saving gigantic sums incurred annually on procuring water from the Municipal Corporation.
In the last 32 years of his career, Shubhang has channelised massive focus on the progress of “Research & Development” Cells at all his organisations.
